Overview
Kashmir, The paradise on earth is indeed a nature lover’s wonderland. The State of Jammu & Kashmir has main three geographical region known as ‘The Lesser Himalayas’ or the ‘Jhelum Valley’ (Kashmir), ‘The Inner Himalayas’ or ‘The Indus Valley’ (Ladakh & Frontier areas) also called ‘Trans Himalayas’, and ‘The Outer-Himalayas’ or ‘The Sourthern’.
The valley is distinctively marked by breath-taking lakes, fresh water streams, luscious fruits, magnificent forests, mighty mountains and lush meadows which makes it a paradise on Earth. The mountain-downs or ‘Margs’ are numerous on the tops of the hills ranges prominent being Gulmarg, Sonmarg etc.
Srinagar: The state capital is situated at an altitude of 1730 m. above sea level. The city of Srinagar stretches along the bank of the Jhelum River, which is spanned by nine old and several other new bridges. Canals intersect the city and link the Jhelum with the spring-fed Dal Lake, which is divided by causeways into four parts-Gagribal, Lokutdal, Boddal and Nagin.
Pahalgam: At the confluence of the streams flowing from the river Lidder and Sheshnag lake, Pahalgam was once a humble shepherd’s village with pristine beauty and breathtaking views. At an altitude of 2130 m. and 96 km from Srinagar, Pahalgam is Kashmir’s premier resort; cool even during peak summer.
Gulmarg: At an altitude of 2730 m. and 56 km from Srinagar, Gulmarg is a huge cup-shaped meadow, lush and green, with slopes where the silence is broken only by the tinkle of cow-bells. All around are snow-capped mountains, and on a clear day you can see all the way to Nanga Parbat in one direction and Srinagar in another.
Accommodation: will be provided in decent Hotels in Jammu & Pahalgam and deluxe House boat at Srinagar.
Registration: Please fill up the registration form and pay an advance of Rs.2500/- to confirm your booking. The balance payment should reach our office at least 15 days before the commencement of the journey. Reservation is done on first come first served basis.
Cheques or DD should be in favour of Sun Adventures. payable at Bhavnagar only.
Dates indicated are inclusive of travelling. Participants would leave Ahmedabad on the first day and reach back on the last day.
Our Fee is inclusive of accommodation, travelling from Ahmedabad (by different modes), food, service charges and service tax. All the charges are per person.
Food: Wholesome and hygienic vegetarian food would be served. Jain Food will be available on prior request at hotels but the same cannot be guaranteed during journey.
Essential Medical Facilities Essential medical facilities in the form of first aid would be available during the tour. All emergencies would be treated by the nearest available doctor / medical facility.
Please Note that the participants will have to look after their luggage throughout the journey as well as during the programme. The organizers will not be responsible for loss, theft or any damage to the participants’ luggage.
Please Submit a Photocopy of the Photo ID proof at the time of registration and the same original Photo ID proof, seven days before the departure. The participants may have to pay fine, wherever applicable in the absence of Photo ID.

Participants will have to look after their luggage throughout the journey as well as during the camp/tour. The organizers will not be responsible for loss, theft or any damage. Doctor’s certificate would be required if the participant is undergoing any medical treatment, is over-weight or above 60 years.
Sun Adventures Reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a participant during the camp/eco-tour in event of unreasonable behavior at any time.
