Kerala also known as Keralam is a state located in the south-west region of India on the Malabar coast. Kochi - Munnar (110 kms lapprox 3 - 3 ½ hour drive

Welcome to Kerala, God's Own Country. Upon arrival at Kochi International Airport, you will be warmly greeted by our representative and escorted on a scenic drive to Munnar, a charming hill station nestled in the Western Ghats. As you ascend through winding roads flanked by lush tea gardens and mist-covered hills, take in the breathtaking natural beauty that defines this region. Upon arrival in Munnar, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax and unwind in the tranquil surroundings. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Munnar - Full-Day Sightseeing

After breakfast at the hotel, set out for a full day of sightseeing in and around Munnar. Begin your exploration with a visit to the Mattuppetty Dam, an idyllic picnic spot known for its calm waters and boating facilities. Continue to Echo Point, where natural echoes reverberate from the surrounding hills, and then to Gundala Lake, a serene location ideal for a peaceful stroll. Stop at Photo Point, a picturesque location ideal for capturing the stunning landscape, followed by a visit to the Cinema Shooting Point, a popular filming location due to its scenic vistas. Witness the intriguing Jungle Honey Bee Nest, a natural beehive attraction, and conclude your tour at Pothamedu View Point, offering panoramic views of the tea, coffee, and cardamom plantations. Return to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Munnar - Thekkady (110 kms lapprox 3 - 3 ½ hour drive)

After breakfast, check out from your hotel in Munnar and proceed to Thekkady, a captivating destination renowned for its dense forests, spice plantations, and rich wildlife. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Western Ghats, passing through rolling hills, cardamom estates, and lush valleys that offer postcard-perfect views. Upon arrival in Thekkady, check in to your hotel and freshen up before setting out for an afternoon of sightseeing. Begin with a tranquil boat ride on Periyar Lake (on direct payment), located within the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, where you may spot herds of elephants, sambar deer, bison, and a variety of bird species along the water's edge. Later, visit a local spice plantation to learn about the cultivation and processing of Kerala's famed spices such as cardamom, pepper, cloves, and vanilla. In the evening, you may choose to attend a Kathakali dance performance or witness the traditional martial art form of Kalaripayattu, both offering a rich cultural experience unique to Kerala (on direct payment). Thekkady - Alleppey - Stay in Houseboat (145 kms lapprox 3 ½ - 4 hour drive)

After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel in Thekkady and proceed to Alleppey, often referred to as the 'Venice of the East" for its intricate network of serene backwaters. Upon arrival, board a traditional Kerala houseboat and set off on a peaceful cruise through the scenic canals. As you drift along the calm waters, take in the lush green landscapes, charming village scenes, and swaying coconut palms. Enjoy a freshly prepared lunch, followed by evening tea and snacks, all crafted by the onboard chef. As the day winds down, admire a breathtaking sunset over the backwaters and later, relish a delectable dinner under the starlit sky. Overnight stay on the houseboat in Alleppey.

Alleppey- Kovalam (175 kms lapprox 4 - 4 ½ hour drive)

After breakfast onboard, disembark from your houseboat and drive to Kovalam, a scenic coastal town famed for its pristine beaches. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and set out to explore the popular Lighthouse Beach, Hawah Beach, and Samudra Beach, each offering picturesque views and a tranquil atmosphere. Kovalam - Excursion to Kanyakumari (80 kms lapprox 2 - 2 ½ hour drive one way)

After breakfast, embark on a full-day trip to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India. Visit the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and the Kanyakumari Temple. Witness the spectacular confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Indian Ocean. Return to Kovalam by evening. Overnight stay in Kovalam

Kovalam - Kochi - Local Sightseeing (225 kms lapprox 6 - 6 ½ hour drive)

After an early breakfast, proceed to Kochi, the vibrant port city known for its rich blend of colonial heritage and coastal charm. Upon arrival, begin your sightseeing tour by visiting the Navy Museum, which showcases India's maritime history. Continue to St. Francis Church, one of the oldest European churches in India, followed by a visit to the iconic Chinese Fishing Nets, a legacy of ancient trade with China. Explore the beautifully preserved Mattancherry Palace (Dutch Palace), renowned for its exquisite murals, and the historic Jewish Synagogue located in the heart of Jew Town. Later, enjoy a peaceful walk along the Marine Walkway, followed by a scenic boating experience that offers views of Kochi's bustling harbor (on direct payment).Overnight stay in Kochi.

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. If your schedule allows, consider a short detour to the Hill Palace Museum in Tripunithura, which was once the residence of the royal family of Kochi and now houses a vast collection of royal artifacts, paintings, and ornaments.
